Our Preliminary Budget
Purchase building, architectural plan, central heating and air, cat five, restrooms, fire protection, security, elevator, upfit electrical, replace exterior windows and doors, interior renovations specific to needs of the Arts Council, Colleton Museum and Civic Center, Establish endowment
Completion of Civic Center (installation of state of the art Media Center, restoring original ceiling rafters, catering kitchen)
New Additions: Courtyard, Storage, and classroom space for Museum and Theatre
Complete landscaping plan and parking lot
Over $1,248,224 million in-kind donations received to date (8/20/06)
"With Walterboro's accessibility to other counties, this facility will provide a place for residents to explore the arts, history and culture of the Lowcountry. The Civic Center aspect will attract visitors and business people, adding economic benefit to Colleton County. Now is the time for this public-private partnership."
